In a small part in Alabama, there are big things going on. These things are cutting edge. They are new and innovative. They are improving the living conditions of a community. In Hale County, the “Rural Studio” has committed itself to improving the living conditions for this community while passing on practical experience to architecture students. Rural Studio is a undergraduate program of the School of Architecture at Auburn University. Because of its national and international recognition and uniqueness, we decided to visit the students in Newbern to find out more.
