Show 240 – Career Technology Center

/ Madison County Career Technology Center /

Most people are proud when they accomplish a project by hand. It’s the feeling you get of “I did that”, that’s rewarding and gives you a sense of worth. What if you had a career that gave you that feeling all the time? At the Madison County Technical Center, students are being trained in several career fields, careers that allow the students to use their hands to accomplish a goal, and make a great living doing it.

In this show, we explore the collision repair class and the precision machine tooling class. Each class highlights the many different skills that the students learn in their class. Skills that can land them a good career with a descent salary. These students are not just learning skills but also getting a chance to apply those skills in the classroom. If you are interested in any of these courses and you are a high school student, talk with your school’s guidance counselor on how to sign up.
