Pipe fitters are among the largest and highest paid construction occupations in the country. This is due to the piping systems involved in residential houses, power plants, manufacturing plants, municipal water treatment plants, pharmaceuticals and computer-chip manufacturing. Just about every structure built requires a pipe fitter at some point in time.
This is also true of insulators. Insulators play an equally important role in the construction industry. Energy consumption is directly related to the quality of a structure’s insulation.
